1.) I was so sure ESPN was gonna jinx by going to live coverage. Every time ESPN goes to live coverage of something, I think of Bartolo Colon throwing that no hitter against the Yankees and losing it one batter into ESPN's live coverage.

2.) But in retrospect, I am so thankful to ESPN for cutting back to Florida for the top of the 8th and 9th innings ^_~

3.) I am so irritated ESPN cut away during the celebration to go back to a Boston-White Sox game that is a complete BLOWOUT and that is already being televised on WGN. GO BACK TO FLORIDA.

4.) I walked all the way over to campus to post about this, because holy hannah, you guys. I love this team. That shot of them surrounding Anibal on the mound, a mass of pure joy. Man, if I get to see a Wild Card celebration after seeing that, it's just icing on the cake at this point.

I could not adore this team more. I stood by the window in my apartment and managed to get enough of a cellphone signal to call [Bad username or site: phantom_hpuff / @ livejournal.com] and squee. I am so happy for Anibal, so thrilled for every single one of them.
