That didn't take long.

Street's days at closer could end tonight in Los Angeles. Manager Clint Hurdle said he would use Thursday's off day to evaluate the position.

Corpas, who has been the setup man, has outpitched Street. Corpas' one hiccup was in Sunday's loss to Philadelphia. Street has struggled since recording his first save Tuesday. Opposing hitters are 8-for-15 against the right-hander, including three home runs.

He got pulled on Jackie Robinson day, with the Rockies up by three. He'd given up a homerun, a single, and a walk when he got yoinked :X Somehow, I am sure this can be blamed on Rich Harden.

I need to find out how Danny's doing so far. I've not been very good at keeping up with my boys this year.

Well, I have to say that I knew a demotion was coming as soon as I saw what happened in that ninth inning (http://pics.livejournal.com/aurealis/pic/000z08t4/). :-P How far have you fallen, Huston. And now i have to look for another closer for my team. :-(

I know! I blame Lacey.

Apparently Hurdle says Huston will have the chance to earn the closer's job back. HMMMM. WHERE HAVE I HEARD THAT BEFORE?
