Wow, Seven Pounds is really getting killed by the critics. Lisa Schwhatsherface from EW gave it a D, and according to A.O. Scott of the NY Times, Seven Pounds "may be among the most transcendently, eye-poppingly, call-your-friend-ranting-in-the-middle-of-the-night-just-to-go-over-it-one-more-time crazily awful motion pictures ever made."

...and so my 2007-2008 streak of not seeing Will Smith films in theatres remains unbroken. Craziness. I was rather looking forward to the reunion of Will and Rosario on screen, but it can wait for TV if the movie is as bad as it sounds. At least I got all those pretty promotional shots of them together.

Hahahaha. That sounds like one of my friends' reaction to the new X-Files movie.

Oh dude, you're so on point; that was exactly how I felt about the X-Files movie. **represses all memory of it again**

saw it on friday. my verdict: don't listen to the critics. they're haters. you just have to see it for yourself. i loved it. and you know i've been looking forward to it too.
i keep meaning to post about my thoughts on it, but no time w the holidays, darnit.
