I used to care about comics way back in the day. I don't really like Wolvie but Deadpool is gonna be in this movie. Deadmotherfuckingpool. And as horny as Gambit has always made me.. this dude who plays him is not cute. This is tragic news. Gambit is my comic book husband so I insist that he be cute.

You can have your Deadpool, dude. (I didn't see him in the trailer, though. But I was, admittedly, preoccupied.)

Gambit was a lot of people's animated sig O, it seems (totally my first cartoon boyfriend). I think TK's attractive enough for Remy, provided the director catchs him from the right angle enough ;) A large part of Gambit's sex appeal for me is the attitude and the accent, so I'll wait before trashing this bit of casting.

I'm too giddy to do it right now, but later I'll worry about whether Taylor's a good enough actor to hold the screen with some of these other guys. Gambit's a pretty big personality.

Season 2 of FNL, TK was charisma personified. He may have struggled early, but I think he'll do well as Gambit.

I'm watching that movie for Deadpool and Gambit. Deadpool is Ryan Reynolds, the dude weilding the katana.

OT: What do you think of the trailer for Watchmen?

Aha! I saw some sword flashing, but could not make out Ryan. Ryan was the only enjoyable thing about Blade: Trinity, so that's a fun bit of casting. I have to admit I know next to nothing about Deadpool, though.

I liked it; uber-stylized but it worked for me. I've only read Watchmen once, and that was a few years ago. At the time, I was rather underwhelmed with everything except Doc Manhattan's storyline, but I'm hopeful that the movie will be entertaining. You?

I don't know anything about Watchmen but watching the trailer made me want to go out and read it. I doubt I'll understand the movie if I don't.
