Oh man, is there anything better than when you try to be on the up and up with your mother about something you KNEW you should have just gone ahead and done behind her back, and she starts ranting and carrying on and won't let you make a point? I love that.

I started The Namesake last night, which is the only reason I had anything nearby to do this with. That leads into kind of a big moment in the story, doesn't it? I recognize the scene from the movie version's trailer.
