It's getting to be that time when I'm having random conversations with people in the school lobby and thinking, you know, it's too bad I never hung out with this person more. She's pretty cool. Alas. It's been 2 and a half years! A little late, Myr.
I took a half gallon of ice cream out of the fridge to soften earlier. And then I took a "nap" and proceeded to leave the ice cream sitting on the counter in my kitchen for like 3 hours. Go team me.
I'm really hungry, and the fridge is running low, incredibly, even though I spent $100 at the grocery store a couple weeks ago. Poking around revealed notmuch of anything in the cabinets, but a can of Mrs Fearnow's All Natural Delicious Brunswick Stew With Chicken. I don't know why I'm always tempting fate by buying these canned soups and things by manufacturers not named Progresso or Campbell...and yet. We'll see. I mean, the woman's name alone should probably be a warning sign. But it has a VIRGINIA'S FINEST stamp on it and everything. Hmm.
How are the Matsuzaka talks on hold? I would choke a bitch. Well, I would hire somebody to choke a bitch. Sounds all backroom politicky and interesting though. I can find it intriguing since I stopped bandwagoning the Sox two years ago. Given the way the MLB All Stars LIT UP Japan's pitchers when they were asked to pitch with the MLB-regulation baseball, I wouldn't be wanting to give the unproven motherfucker $15m a year on a long term contract either. Put the crack down, Scott.
The Sox also may make a run at free agent Mark Mulder, who has drawn the interest of the Cardinals, Mets and Rangers, amongst others.

Hee. Am I vexed, or am I a Klingon.
Mulder is to visit Texas on Tuesday amid reports that Arizona, Texas, St. Louis and San Diego are the top contenders for his services. He is to be married Saturday and if possible would like to make his decision before then, agent Gregg Clifton said.
Ah, thank you, Mark. I would like you to make your decision before then too, so I can IGNORE YOU FOR THE REST OF THE OFFSEASON.
Another Saturday wedding. Barry should sign his new contract on a Saturday, just to keep up the running gag.
Was gonna post pics from Game2 of the doubleheader, but looking over my pictures, there's not much to them. And 80% of them are Street's blown save in progress, and those aren't as much fun since the fucker had the nerve to actually be injured and shit.
But on the topic of blown saves, had on that marathon game between Oakland and LAD recently. I think the bottom of the 17th might be one of my favoritest half innings ever. The boys were punchy, the announcers were punchy, and it was just fun times all around, especially since it ended in a green and gold win.
Bottom of the 8th into the top of the ninth: (66mb, wmv) - Bobby plays the hero, knocking in the tying and go ahead runs, after the asshole Dodgers intentionally walk Chavvy to get to him. Huston comes in to protect the lead, and send the big crowd home happy. By which I mean, with two outs and two strikes on the batter, Huston blows the lead.
Bottom of the 11th: (3mb, wmv) - The A's fail to score in the bottom of the 9th or the bottom of the 10th, so Huston finally drags his sorry ass back into the dugout, that he might face and accept the scorn of his teammates. Or maybe he just wanted to sit on the cooler and aggressively chew his gum.
Bottom of the 16th: (9mb, wmv) - Everyone looks like they really want to go home. Huston, having been accepted back into the fold, pretends it's totally not his fault the game isn't over yet.
Bottomof the 17th: (44mb, wmv) - Kotsay gets the boys in rally mode, and it pays off. Yay. The video's a little choppy towards the very end, when the boys rush Marco, which I think is the fault of MLB's encoding, and not your computer.

LOL, okay. I mean, it's as good a theory as any.
It's not the best shot of her, but Brianna forwarded this to me a couple weeks ago:
Presumably she's the blond in the business get up? I remember Brianna or Elena linking me to a picture of her and Mark at some kind of costume party a long while ago, but I don't have that picture anywhere.

not that, like, it actually matters or anything.

Why are these people bothering with him now? He said he wants to make a decision before he gets married. That doesn't give them any time to hammer out something.
Ah, thank you, Mark. I would like you to make your decision before then too, so I can IGNORE YOU FOR THE REST OF THE OFFSEASON.
And how would you fill the void in your posting? He's been like 90% of your content lately. }:-)

Yeah, and you conveniently fail to mention how this injury thing is the fault of one Myr and Bri. :-P
Thanks for the videos! And I'm really curious to know how that soup worked for you. :-D

lol, I know right? Get with the program, Boston.

I WILL THINK OF SOMETHING. Hee.

Ha. You mean, Bri. Totally Bri's fault. She was ROOTING for him to blow the save, you know.
Thanks for the videos!
You're welcome!

I didn't like it :( Really salty and just...not good. I guess I've been spoiled by Progresso, because they're pretty good with their stuff not being salty. And not sucking.
