I'm pretty mentally useless after exams. I give you the results of some recent post-exam icon binges.

Behind the cut
01-07 Mussina (Mostly from the ALMOST AT AN END Yankees era), Jorge/Andy
08-14 A's (The Big Three, 1 Harden)
15-17 Wright, Reyes, Francoeur
18-23 Cards
24-25 Backe
26-45 Mussina bases (all NYY era)

Samples:
04. // 15. // 24.

Administrative Notes:
++ If you lift any of the first 25, credit and a comment is appreciated.
++ #26-45 are bases. I did very little to them besides crop, sharpen, and brighten a touch. Edit to your heart's desire. Credit is not necessary, though a comment would be cool. I'll forgo sharing bases in the future if there's no interest in them. It's just less coding for me when it comes time to post.
++ Brushes and gradients credited in my user info ^_^

My friend [Bad username or site: johnnybvo / @ livejournal.com] on my newfound interest in the boys of Oakland, recent past and present: "Well, I'm glad you found a way to extend this season. Cause you get right crabby in November usually, and just before spring training? unbearable." Heh.
17. I was originally gonna caption this one "Nice pants", but my inner twelve-year old won out.
18. Seriously. Worst. Throwback Unis. EVER.
21. Fan grabbing some dirt after the last game at Busch. I love this picture. You know, there was almost WAY more of a Cards/Braves/Mets/Astros presence in this post, and then I remembered I don't care about the National League. This picture's cool, though :-P
24. I don't know. I really don't.
26-45. There are, no joke, perhaps a total of 5 images out there in the world of Mike Mussina in uniform and smiling. I wish to God I knew the context of what's going down in #37. I like to imagine Jorge and Derek are about to throw down over Moose's affections ^_~

I emailed TPTB at Gettyimages to let them know they had 4 photos of Kevin Brown and 1 photo of Jason Giambi miscaptioned as pictures of Moose. Man, doesn't anyone take pride in doing their job right anymore? Jason Giambi. I mean, honestly.

Okay, this has been bothering me for a while now........I want to put a header at the top of my LJ, much like you have, but I can't figure out how to do it. I mean, the entries are covering it up. You can barely see it in the space between each entry.

The only reason why I'm asking is because we both are using the same style and maybe you might be able to help. :D

Wow, it's been ages since I did the header coding thing and I've bastardized it so much adding extra components and the control panel and all that, but let's see...

Um, since you have a header up there, I presume you've already done the thing where you add a new theme layer?

Instead of the header coding you're currently using, try the coding provided here (http://www.livejournal.com/community/component_help/75405.html?thread=380301#t380301).

He says elsewhere: If you're already using the print_custom_head() function, then just combine the "body {...}" segment into your function.

I hope that helps!

Okay, I went to create a new layer, and I used the code that he put in his first response, and it still looks the same. :\

I'm sorry I can't be more help, but I'm not much of a coder. It's taken me a year of trial and error and messing with different tutorials to get my lj the way it is now - I really don't know how to begin to walk someone else through it if the coding isn't working for whatever reason.
