I'm pretty mentally useless after exams. I give you the results of some recent post-exam icon binges.

Administrative Notes:
++ If you lift any of the first 25, credit and a comment is appreciated.
++ #26-45 are bases. I did very little to them besides crop, sharpen, and brighten a touch. Edit to your heart's desire. Credit is not necessary, though a comment would be cool. I'll forgo sharing bases in the future if there's no interest in them. It's just less coding for me when it comes time to post.

21. Fan grabbing some dirt after the last game at Busch. I love this picture. You know, there was almost WAY more of a Cards/Braves/Mets/Astros presence in this post, and then I remembered I don't care about the National League. This picture's cool, though :-P
24. I don't know. I really don't.
26-45. There are, no joke, perhaps a total of 5 images out there in the world of Mike Mussina in uniform and smiling. I wish to God I knew the context of what's going down in #37. I like to imagine Jorge and Derek are about to throw down over Moose's affections ^_~


I emailed TPTB at Gettyimages to let them know they had 4 photos of Kevin Brown and 1 photo of Jason Giambi miscaptioned as pictures of Moose. Man, doesn't anyone take pride in doing their job right anymore? Jason Giambi. I mean, honestly.

Every time I see him, I'm all "Jason Giambi has a fat head!" It's like a compulsion to declare it to the world. SEE WHAT I'M DOING RIGHT NOW.

Man. One day, I will mad pimp out all of my kids and you will make shiny loving icons of them, because these are gorgeous, but I couldn't really use any of them, but until then, I will shamelessly attempt to make you do more A's icons. :D Awww. Little Richie Harden.

The Astros should do a horrible throwback uniform day. Because those really garish rainbow-y things they used to have? I love them with a fierce passion that only really awful things inspire in me. Clearly I should write Houston a letter.

Well, you know what you have to do, right? You have to post the lyricwheel EPIC. (Did you post it already and I missed it?) :-P And then, undoubtedly, I will be compelled to icon the hell out of Broussard and this El Pronko character, and probably Sizemore too, because [Bad username or site: lisabird / @ livejournal.com] would probably take offense if I didn't.

Ahahaaha. Yeah. Why are those throwback jerseys so popular? I always see rappers wearing them out in public. Like, willingly.

they usually do the throwback thing once a year. however, once they don the unis, they also don teh suck and '04 4th of july, i believe they lost around 18-3 against the rangers. before that, also a horrible score. perhaps worse. which is why i'm kinda happy they didn't do it this year.

ps i'm taking #25 on account that you blame me for berkman.

The Orioles didn't do it this year either, which pleased me greatly :-P Though actually, for our part, the Futures uniforms they rocked in like 99 or 2000 were waaaaaaaaaaaaay worse than our throwback unis. So really, there's no pleasing me.

That original pic of Ausmus and Backe is seriously like the gift that keeps giving. I suppose I can forgive you for Berkman since you also brought it into my life :-P
