This is a few weeks old but...the reason for the March/May Monday/Tuesday confusion as to Prison Break's return date and time, from Entertainment Weekly:
FOX may have struck out with the World Series (the least watched ever), but it's not complaining. For the first time in nearly a decade, the network's fall series have survived the buzz- and ratings-killing baseball hiatus: Year 2 of House is booming, Bones and The War At Home are steady performers, and Prison Break is a developing hit. But with the return of American Idol and 24 in January, Fox has a problem: After Break airs its 13th episode on Nov. 28, there's no place to put the remaining nine episodes until May. A hiatus that long could be risky for the breakout drama. It's a little early in the show's run to ask for that much viewer patience -- after all, it's not The Sopranos. So insiders say Fox may reconsider, either by moving Break up to 8pm on Mondays this winter -- which could mean shuffling House and perhaps Bones from their intended slots in January -- or waiting until early spring to give it a new day and time.
. . . . Creator Paul Scheuring has intimated that the title-making event will occur in the season's two-hour finale, but there's been speculation that it could happen as early as the end of this month. The fact is, no one can get a straight answer out of Fox. So break or Break? Allow us to offer a solution: Keep the show on the air and move it to the viewer graveyard formerly known as Friday, where another addictive Fox drama, The X-Files, once gained quite a cult following. . . . -- Lynette Rice
So Fox has decided to bring the show back in March, ixnaying both a straight run and a wait until May. Which means a time change when it returns. I can't see Fox shuffling House to Mondays for January and February and then moving it AGAIN in March, which means...I still have no clue when PB will be on. The schedule looks pretty full, especially with American Idol on twice a fucking week >.> This all hurts my head. Ugh.
Well, small favors: I'm not watching anything else religiously, so the only thing it will ever conflict with is baseball really.
In other news, still not getting some comments emailed to me. This vexes me.

More seriously, I had no idea Bones was doing that well for Fox. I was under the impression Prison Break was the bigger hit, though obviously I was wrong about that. Now I'm all curious to see how different their numbers are, so I can bitch about it some more.

The promo after yesterday's "fall finale" said the show was returning in March, so they clearly heard the negative buzz about holding the show back until May.
Hmm. So Reunion was on Thursday nights at 9. If Fox sticks Prison Break there, that works for me because if there's a game on a Thursday, it's usually in the afternoon. The OC seems a strange show to partner Prison Break with, but who knows.
Anyway, thanks for the head's up ^_^

But thankfully, I don't think there's any real chance the show will end up in either of those timeslots...

Others on my f-list are having the same problem. I scroll through my own comments periodically to see if I've missed any! Naking me paranoid, I tell ya!

Well, your comment was in my inbox...but not the comment [Bad username or site: scornedsaint / @ livejournal.com] left >.> So...I'm gonna say it's still being buggy.
I mean, the show premiered early in the summer, so it's not that a break is unexpected, I just wish there was more certainty as to when we can expect it back.

I haven't been responding to lag comments, but this was just too funny to pass up. ;-) I agree with you, btw! Hope the exams are going well. :-)

I did a little happy dance when I heard March. And then I pouted because it's still, you know, MARCH. But yeah. Way better than May :-P

In March, the most talked-about new drama this season is back as Prison Break returns with an encore of this past Monday's fall finale on Monday, March 13 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT), and then thrilling, all-original episodes – no repeats for the rest of the season – beginning Monday, March 20 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT).
I hope that makes you as happy as her (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v297/rehtnug/Rosario_Dawson_Portrait_Sessions_01.jpg). :)
