So last week there was allegedly "another side to the story" and Raffy was gonna "tell it soon." And it's been days and Raffy's said nothing, and now it's the day he's eligible to play again, and Sammy P might keep him out of the line up (Why? Way to just draw this whole thing out longer), and there are no plans for any press conferences because Raffy's agent thinks it's best that he refrain from public comments while Congress is looking into the situation.
I really feel bad for the rest of the guys, because they're just trying to right the ship and they've been dealing with all this crap for what seems like forever, and the longer Raffy goes without saying anything, the more the media turn to his teammates to make a case for him and it's completely unfair.
Maybe he should ask his good buddy Shrub to introduce him to Ari Fleischer. Now there was a guy who could lie, and do it with authority. They'd make a great pair.
Anyway, got my research fellowship assignment for this year: I'm working under Professor Malone. I'm pretty excited and scared about it. She's all about International Law and Human Rights and I'm definitely interested in that, so yay! I've heard she's a little hard to work for, like she doesn't give you much direction, which could suck for me, but overall, I'm really pleased. This could be pretty awesome.
I have an agenda in 33 minutes. I was feeling pretty good about it until I started re-reading an affidavit just now and realized that I omitted from my investigative report part of the sequence of events on one of the discriminatees. Le sigh. Smooth move, Myr.
