So I should have been able to tell from the title that I was gonna get seriously grossed out this ep... Anyhoo, quick reactions:

Dan and Silas made nice! Awww. That pleases me, since I rather like them both.

"Well, open your mouth, Jewel, and say something we don't fuckin' understand!" - It's wrong, but that line cracked my shit up. I've noticed Trixie's getting more of the lines I love this season (see her "There's entries on both side of the fuckin' ledger is the fuckin' point...as I already TALK LIKE A FUCKIN' JEW.") Or, lines I love not coming from Jane, because obviously ^_~

Speaking of, no Jane or Charlie this ep.

So Carrie's not at all like I thought. And now I'm all confused about her and Wilcox. I suppose, in the scheme of things, it's more interesting than devoting any more screentime to Cy. (I'm exceedingly over Tolliver).

It was very, very odd to hear Martha call him Seth. Also, good call removing the bundling board because that bed would have been downright impossible to sleep in otherwise. I find the Seth/Martha relationship an interesting thing to watch develop, but I'm a bit glad we didn't get a chance to see their "discussion". The way those two take their sweet time phrasing sentences, it would have taken the whole fuckin' hour.

Ellsworth rocks. This should be observed early and often. Does he officially have a love train yet? He's not just good with kids, he dug for a week to save trapped miners! **swoons** But seriously, nice peek at his backstory.

Ms. Isringhausen is a whack job. I'm not entirely shocked because I still haven't placed where I know her from, but I get the feeling she's played crazy in one of my other fandoms. Something about that woman's eyes. I thought it was a bit out of the blue that she should go to Silas. Am I forgetting some prior interaction between the two? I mean, have we ever even seen them onscreen together?

I loved how Dan was upset at CropEar for pissing him off such that he had to kill him. "I was trying to do you a fuckin' favor!" And his scene with Wu? Hee. "It's wasted on me, Wu." (And Johnny's "Why don't you learn to talk AMERICAN? Save us all a lot of fuckin' trouble..." Heh.)

Brad Dourif continues to own all. I just love Doc.

Al. Poor Al! I couldn't watch most of it, but I cannot wait until he is up and around again. Because I miss him. And being able to watch him on screen without flinching.

Ha, I have to boot yesterday's GIP to make room for a DW icon. That didn't take long :-P
