**laughs** It's an LJ clone++, I guess I'd say. Like InsaneJournal and JournalFen, it's based off the LJ code, but TPTB over at DW are making an effort to improve the usability of the code and do different things with it (some of TPTB are former LJ staffers). I think it's fair to say the site is bidding for LJ users who are disenchanted with the user-management dynamic here, and the perceived efforts to "myspace"acize LJ.
