I'd say it's probably this sort of thing with most people? I have a really hard time with my "like"s. It's why I've long prefer written communication (email, lj) to talking on the phone, because when I'm writing, the "like"s get toned down, at least a little ^_~
I think Rich doesn't even like to talk much.
This would not surprise me, lol, after reading his comments on Huston's tremendous cellphone usage.
Not long ago you posted some video of an interview panel from some fanfest (I guess it was last year's) with him, Zito, Blanton, and Curt Young, and Harden barely said anything and looked kind of standoffish and uncomfortable the whole time, like he REALLY didn't want to be there
Oh yeah! (and yes, that was from last year's panel). I'd uploaded it at the request of someone on the AP comm, and never made it past Zito's Brynes story. I'd completely forgotten about that!
