So I have a lot (A LOT) of postcards. They're fairly random, mostly artsy reprints that I picked up at museums or in great bunches from flea markets; I've used them the past two years as wall art in my dorm room. I sent off a bunch last fall, or perhaps spring, I can't remember now, but at any rate, I swear these things breed in secret. So, if you've previously given me your address for pretty much any reason, you have at least one postcard on the way to you, possibly more. Just cause.

If I do not have your address, and you'd like a postcard or five, comment with your mailing info below. Comments with personal info will remain screened.

I don't promise they'll be remotely interesting or anything, just you know, a postcard! from me! so, yes. That's pretty much the only selling point.

Also, [Bad username or site: rickenbacker / @ livejournal.com] asked about the circle journal. As it turns out, it's still making its way down the East Coast. The one week turnaround thing seems to have been completely unrealistic of me; it's been closer to 2-4 weeks at each of the stops so far. I picked it up from [Bad username or site: phantom_hpuff / @ livejournal.com] this week past and I've mailed it on to [Bad username or site: nyychick23513 / @ livejournal.com], totally without reading it, too. I was very proud of me ^_~ Anyway, Shannon's the last East Coast stop and then it's on to the rest of you guys. If you've lost interest at this point and want off the list, just let me know.

eta: Yay, Cubbies! **shakes pom-poms** NEVERMIND. ALSO, SO NOT MY FAULT.

Yay for mail that won't be college spam!

I'll send you along something next time I'm in DC; I usually stock up on artsy/cheesy postcards while I'm there.

I like postcards! Though I think I still owe you from the last one you sent me. But that's okay. I won't mind if you send me another one anyway. :D

**face-palms** JINXED THEM, APPARENTLY. Though it can't be my fault! I was cheering the fact that they'd scored in the first. They totally just got around to blowing it now. THAT IS NOT MY FAULT.

APPARENTLY.

I don't think that counts as a jinx, though. If you'd said, "yaye Cubbies you will surely win now excuse me while I count my unhatched chickens!" then yes, I'd say it was all your fault. But this one I think the Cubs blew without you.

It was just funny 'cause I saw your post and then I checked the score and the game had just gone final so I figured something had gone amiss. :D

Well, we were 3 outs away.. [forces self to think positive]

I think we need MAGIC pom-poms..

As much as I would LOVE a postcard, my dad's a cop & isn't to fond of me giving out info. Christmas, maybe? lol. [hugs, anyway]

Ha, is there less of a chance I'll track you down and KILL YOU IN YOUR SLEEP come the holidays? ^_~

Sike, jokes aside, it's cool. I know where your dad is coming from.

Well, we were 3 outs away.. [forces self to think positive]

:( I know, man. I was just starting to doze off, too. And then I hear the announcer's excited voice and I was just hoping there weren't enough guys on base to give them the lead :/ One game at a time. Every day is another chance to turn it all around. This, too, shall pass. And so on. And so forth.

I think we need MAGIC pom-poms..

I'll check around and see if anyone has some of those! Maybe I can con someone in Saint Louis Boston into sending me some.

Well, if I'm not dead from nervous breakdowns & depression from this 2006 season by then, I'll be worried. ;]

If you were to use [livejournal.com profile] rickenbacker's addy, it would be cool. She's sent me DVDs, so there wouldn't be that big of a woopdeedo-who-is-this-person there. But that's only if you were to have an insane need to send me one, & if she wouldn't mind, lol.

Part of me is still in the "game is tonight mode" & forgetting that we already lost. We'll pretend I'm not in denial. I cannot look forward to tomorrow enough.

I dunno what they're using in St. Louis, but dang is it working..

I like your artsy fartsy post cards. And once I find my sacreligious nun one, it'll be on its way to you. :P

Your icon is all to appropriate. I did steal a pack of post cards from the library. I can use those. :P
