I confess, I kinda laughed when Inge took him out. I blame Alex because I'm pretty sure she had !Haren talking smack about a certain someone's batting average pre-series.

Heard that the Street living situation came up during the game. SEE, silly girl who was so authoritatively telling me Street never moved out? Like Nick Swisher would have no idea of his own house drama.

(I keep waking up at 4am, because my sleep schedule is completely frakked. Not good!)

I can't decide whether or not to tell my parents about St. Louis. My mother would completely go off about me being fiscally irresponsible, but it's really her fault, because she's the reason I have money in the bank right now. She insisted on paying for the Vaio, and she insisted on paying the remainder of my tuition bill. Was she hoping I was actually gonna save my pay this semester? On the other hand, I should hate for my parents to get a phone call from MO at 3 in the morning and be like "um, our daughter goes to school in Virginia. How can she possibly be dead in jail in Missouri?"

Because that would be awwwwwwkward.

This is so incredibly surreal.

When I surfed across CNN.com during class earlier, and saw the breaking news banner about a plane hitting a building in New York, my heart froze in my chest.

And then when I turned on ESPN after getting out of class just now my heart stopped a second time.

How awful.

(And I feel terrible because my second thought was "Thank God it wasn't Moose, or someone else I care about.")

I was at the game in Philly where they announced that he and Bobby Abreu had been traded to the Yankees. It's so weird to think I saw him a few months ago reluctantly tipping his cap to fans. And now he's dead. I know hundreds upon hundreds of people die every day...but this is so surreal.
