Oh Proof, you complete and total dumbass. I wouldn't have believed it but that apparently there are multiple witnesses saying he fired first. For shame, man. I actually liked you and shit. Em's statement about the impact Proof had on him was sweet though.

I really wish ESPN would stop wasting valuable airtime showing footage of Barry Bonds refusing to answer questions. The only thing I care about less than Barry Bonds is that Favre guy. That is time that could be devoted to showing more footage from the Marlins win, thank you very much. Speaking of the Marlins: TWO IN A ROW. Hee. I would feel kind of bad for the Nationals, but they sent down Watson, who was the only one I was remotely attached to. Poor Frank Robinson. As one of the Nats announcers put it last night, "You know what Frank's thinking right now? STOP WALKING PLAYERS WE'VE NEVER HEARD OF." Ha! Ryan Zimmerman, not quite the pride of Virginia but close, made some nice defensive plays.
Orioles came back to win it in the ninth for the second night in a row. A friend of mine joked that I picked the wrong time to quit liking the Orioles. Please. If I was rooting for them, they'd be like 2-9. But they don't have to worry about it, MelMo still isn't signed past this year, so if my feelings have anything to do with it, I will hate them right into the World Series. Watch me. And for the record, I totally called Darkness (tm Rick James) blowing RoLo's win.
A's lost, but Dan Johnson finally got his first hit of the season. His reaction was the best thing about the game last night, I think.
I haven't seen the Astros play in a minute. And speaking of, is anyone interested in Buster Olney's interview with Roy O? I could see about scanning it if anyone hasn't read it.
