The Lab has re-introduced Three Witches, which completely blows me away. I can pretty much sell off the rest of my BPAL now, because I've always felt that if Three Witches came back, that's all I'd ever wear. So, so awesome.

Oh, phantom_hpuff and scornedsaint: I finally sent out your postcards! And I bought stamps while I was at the PO - the Bailamos collection? I love them, they're so...happy and colorful. (As Ash would say, We're happy and we're singing and we're colored!) I want to send people random mail, for the express purpose of using these stamps :-P

You know what's weird? Andruw isn't even the real version of "Andrew" in Dutch; it's Andries apparently. I guess his parents took the English version and spelled it with Dutch spelling (uw is a common sight in the language and is close to what non-English speakers hear when we pronounce the name)...

Postcard got here today! I love that picture. I think my favorite part is all the random scarves tied to the beam. There's no way I could live in that many clothes, but I like having a picture of it.

It's not cheating to vote after the news has already been released when it's who I would have voted for anyway. Of course, my physical vote is pretty unnecessary given you know I wouldn't vote for anyone else if you took to beating my brains in with a bat.

Also, Andruw Jones? Horrible BA for an MVP, that's why he didn't get it. And dood, carried his team through injuries and rookies and all that. Gee, where does that sound familiar?

Not that I don't love Andruw, he's amazing, he had an amazing year. It just would have pissed me off if he'd gotten MVP. But then it probably would have pissed me off even if he had deserved it

Yeah, turns out a quick scan of ye olde friends page reveals a few cries of "D Lee had better numbers but you knew he was screwed for playing with a losing ballclub" and apparently no one was about Andruw at all. LOL, least of all Andruw himself. How about that? But I don't have a problem with Pujols taking it, as he carried his ballclub into the playoffs and I definitely think that should count for extra. Anyway, I've heard so much about the guy in the last few years, it's definitely about time he had some hardware to go with all that hype.
