[Bad username or site: trailer_spot / @ livejournal.com] put up a QT version of the RENT trailer and the quality wasn't the greatest for iconage, but you knew I was gonna latch onto something :-P
Anyhoo, on this Sunday I'm puttering about, being generally useless, because it is HOT. My brother met some Moroccan girls at his school a few months before graduation, and my mom felt obligated to have them over since he told her they were homesick. So my weekend has been hijacked for cleaning and helping my mom prep (they'll be over for a late lunch today). Thankfully, she's also invited some of her other Moroccan friends so I won't be responsible for talking or socializing *too* much. She's doing last minute stuff, and I'm basically trying to move as little as possible because it is HOT. Tigers and O's in a few minutes and omg, can we win two in a row please? That would be downright novel at this point. Also, Gil is hurt because the baseball gods are having a laugh, and I actually heard our announcers utter the words "BJ will used as an emergency catcher if anything happens to Sal." BJ Surhoff, people. BJ Surhoff hasn't caught a game in, like, TWENTY YEARS. The man has knee problems and back spasms and he's our backup catcher. I am just WAITING for the moment we have to put Rick Dempsey on the roster because both Sal and BJ have been injured.
Does anyone have Telling Me Now by Jessy Moss? It's not on the Win A Date With Tad Hamilton soundtrack. Grr. Argh. Thanks Doug!
I'm pretty sure I don't need to order The Beared Lady, Snake Charmer or Gypsy Queen, they sound like they're gonna be pretty popular picks and some will undoubtedly pop up for swap. I probably don't need to order Midway, people are ordering it by the barrel, and no one can use that much oil...but I don't know. Right now, the order stands at Midway, House of Mirrors, Medicine Show, and Kunstkammer. For now. I'm slowly making my way through the Arkhams, an imp here, an imp there. They're not really doing anything for me. Dunwich was my latest try. It was nice but eh. I don't know why I keep swapping for aquatics when they all pretty much smell the same to me. I bought a bottle of Kingsport off the forums that hasn't arrived, and I'm 98% sure I'll end up imping it off. I almost bought bottles of Yog-S and Azathoth off the forums to do the same thing, but I just didn't feel like going through the effort, since I really wasn't all that interested in even trying those. Has anyone tried Tzulscha? I almost ordered that when I ordered Miska and Shub-N, and I called it off at the last minute, and I'm really regretting it now; that one sounds like it's clicked for a lot of people. I did finally get to try one of the forum onlies - Queen of Spades. It smells a lot like Blood on me, that same spicy/sweet fruit muskiness. I like Blood, so this is of the yay, but I'm gonna look to see if I can swap this away for some stuff I've been dying to try. What else have I tried recently? Oh, I got a decant of Milk Moon, because I couldn't wait for my bottle to come. It's SO sweet and creamy smelling, it almost makes my teeth hurt :-P Me and the moons are simply not getting on. Also tried and disliked Hearth and Midwinter's Eve. I got a decant of Dia de los Muertos - I really like this one. It's like something of a cross between Port Au Prince and Santo Domingo. Sweeter floral than Port Au Prince, but a little darker than Santo. If I knew how to do that heart thing, there'd be one right here ^_^ Forumites really need to stop offering bottles for such reasonable prices because now I have bottles of Desdemona, Dorian, and Scarecrow on their way to me, and seriously, I already have more bpal than I could ever hope to wear in my life.
I really, really like the look of Flexible Squares. I'd have switched over already if I only knew how to bring my random quote generator and control panel with me. I am loathed to give them up, and I'm still poking about for tutorials and messing with code to see how I can get it done.

Possibly it's vaguely related to the fact that my godmother Does Not Cook and so we hide her gifts in the oven. Hide any information that would make me furious in baseball stuff!
