Oh man, nope, it wasn't even a "good for fans only" movie (although I know why they would say that - there is no effort to make the movie accessible to people who don't already know the show and its characters). It was just bad on all counts. I consider myself a fan, and I didn't like it. Bri is a diehard, and she didn't like it.
