Wow, belatedly, let me acknowledge what a total cutie Carmelo Anthony is! He's on ESPNews now, being fairly slashy with some indy car racer? (PJ someone or another) And he keeps smiling! So cute.
Apparently PJ Chesson is racing a car co-owned by Carmelo, so they were on together talking about the Indy 500. At the beginning of the interview, Brian Kenney asked Melo how involved he was, and Melo was all "you know, financially....I'm not one of those people who stay behind the scenes...sometimes I go down there in the pit and give him some pointers" and Chesson kinda smirked and Brian Kenney was all "what kind of pointers?" and Melo was like "...I have no idea."
Chesson was being kinda hands on (or, in the words of my dad, "look at that white boy sucking up"), and Melo was being very smiley. Chesson was asked what it feels like to drive 200+ miles an hour and he cracked a joke about how it feels to go over a hundred in Melo's old ass car. He also had some fun with the fact that Carmelo apparently flat out refuses to get into a race car under any circumstances.
Then Brian Kenney tried to talk to Melo about the NBA playoffs, but he didn't seem too into that :(
