Enough with the fucking commercials that scare me half to death.
I don't care if your Jetta is built to withstand crashes better than any other car ever in the history of motor vehicles.
I am not getting in one of those cars. Ever.

I'll get in any car that I don't associate with accidents PERIOD.

Which is basically anything that is not a Jetta at this point.

VW invented the thingy that causes the engine block to drop out of the frame onto the ground instead of crushing your legs that every car in the world uses now.

I feel unsafe in anything made in the USA.

OH dude, seriously. I get sucked into the conversation in that commercial every time (It's very well-acted) and then I totally freak out at the crash. EVERY TIME. You'd think i'd learn.

I KNOW. I'm the same way. I didn't realize there was more than one (I'd only seen the one with the moviegoers before), but I'm sitting here and the guys are having this conversation that I must have had with friends a dozen times before, and I'm amused. But then I see the little VW in the middle of the steering wheel and for the next 10 seconds I'm waiting for the damn crash and it still made me flinch.

personally, i prefer the "unpimp my ride" commercials. those damn things cracked me up. there's just something about "snap!" being said in a think psuedo-german accent.
