JJ's diabetic, and I remember there was a minor hullabaloo a few years ago when he was an Oriole, because he collapsed during a Spring Training practice. He talks pretty openly about it, and it's kind of interesting all the extra considerations a player with that condition has to keep in mind in order to stay well.
