Awesome! We don't get ESPNews on the school's cable system, and I haven't been able to listen to the broadcasts online lately, so this is fabulous. I don't really get too into the show until baseball season rolls around, but still, good to hear. I really got used to listening to Greeny and Golic on a regular basis last summer, and I miss it. Also, sometimes, Buster Olney fills in and I crush on Buster Olney like a mad crushing thing. Don't tell anyone.

+ Ew! What is with that color scheme? Nevermind. I am apparently nutters. I swear it loaded up all green and weird this morning.

+ I love how Boston's rumored to be in the middle of like 6 three team trades. I haven't heard about the Yanks doing anything since Farnsworth. O's meanwhile....might be close to a deal with Ramon Hernandez. We all hate Toronto. I still hate Toronto.

+ AHAHAH. Drew Rosenhaus has been dumped by some of his clients? Hee. I don't follow football at all, but I've heard that guy's name mentioned enough times with all the T.O. craziness to find him annoying.

+ Am I alone in geeking out at the sight of our man Bashir in the Syriana ads? Siddig, I'm glad to see you working, friend.

+ And speaking of the English, or at least the English-accented, I found myself buying the latest Jacob's Stories EP off the little indie label website. (Jacob's Stories, the band behind Unfinished Idea No. 208, which I've shared here about 20 times probably.) I don't know how long it will take to get here from the UK, but I'm pretty excited. I am oddly enamoured of their sound.

Holy Hannah - earlier this morning, I chased my cup of Scottish Breakfast with a Full Throttle and I have never been more fucking jittery IN MY LIFE. Remember when that bastard Ras stole Bat's sooper sekrit files and started taking out the Justice League and he has his operatives fire a vibrating bullet into Flash's spine and Wally starts having epileptic seizures at the speed of light? It's like that. Only, you know, less fucking dramatic.

Point, had a point. Um, I'm tired of all my study music, friends. A girl can only take so much Robert Duncan and Philip Glass in a day. If anyone feels inclined to YSI me stuff, that would rock. The roommie introduced me to AOL radio, which is kind of a rocking thing, and a nice alternative to BBConline. I really like the variety of stations available. I was listening to the ambient station for a minute and then I saw one titled 'Melancholia' and had to scuttle over. "The Sounds of Indie Sadness" it says. Hee! Been listening to it since. Good stuff.
