From this fun EW cover story on the success of Fast & Furious:
  • While Diesel got his scrappy start growing up in Greenwich Village, Walker was raised in sunny Southern California, a surfer boy who landed easy work as a model and later got a gig on The Young and the Restless. "Vin and I, we're two completely different people. If I were any more like him or he was any more like me, there's no way in hell we would ever get along. But for some reason it works."
  • The question now, of course, is how Diesel and Walker will handle their newfound momentum. There's obviously no guarantee that either one of them can open a major movie once they leave their vehicles, but it almost doesn't matter. There's already a fifth Fast & Furious in the works[.]

But make sure you BRING BACK HAN. That is all.

Notes: If you're like me, be assured that FernGully IS on this list, it's just hella down at the bottom. The Reluctant Dragon is not on this list. I don't know how you include Pete's Dragon and Mary Poppins but omit Bedknobs & Broomsticks (which I'm pretty sure had more animation than either of those other two). Also, some sequels are listed, but many aren't. Inconsistency, boo.

No one asked, but for completeness' sake, I really liked The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride. Not so much any other Disney sequels I've seen besides Down Under (not counting Pixar sequels).

eta: Oh, you know what else isn't on the list? That random Little Red Riding Hood movie from a few years back. The one that was hilarious, but kind of ghetto fabulous and really weird? I cannot think of what it was called.

Am I the last person on the block to hear that Zooey Deschanel and Ben Gibbard are engaged?

I'm not sure how I feel about this. I think I'm leaning toward it being awesome, like, on the scale of Will and Jada, or Alyson and Alexis, but I have to think about it for a minute.
